Prime Time Blanton ~ "PT"
1999 Sorrel stallion, 1,300lbs, 15.2h
Prime Time Blanton, "PT", was purchased as a yearling at the 2000 Wyoming Blanton Est. sale from Stuart & Samm Hoar because of his disposition, looks & way of going. He is an intelligent, powerful stallion with a huge kind eye, deep bodied & big hip. He is used on the ranch and has the demeanor of a will trained gelding when under saddle. This spring after being turned out all winter, we jumped on
him bareback to move his mares & a bull to a different pasture. He did great. We are riding several of his offspring and they have shown his ability to pass on many of his great attributes. This foundation-bred stallion is double bred Lucky Blanton. His sire, Lucky Red Mud, has sired several good rope horses in California. PT's good looks, ability, disposition and bloodlines makes him top of the line.

SHS Hesa Wily ~ "Dunny"
2003 Dun stallion, 1,100lbs, 14.2h
SHS Hesa Wily, "Dunny", is a 2003 dun stallion out of a son of Wilywood and a full sister to Skoal Bandit Blanton. Under saddle he is well mannered, shows intelligence and a willingness to learn, and is smooth to ride. We used him this spring to calve out the cows and tag calves. He had patience with inept ropers and smarts to deal with ornery cows. He did what he needed done with minimal fuss.
He is the kind of horse that we have turned out for the winter or the two months he was with the mares yet we step on him and go where we left off on the last ride. Dunny is double bred Lucky Blanton with Doc Bar, Wimpy, Driftwood and Poco Bueno in his pedigree. |
