Roger & Joan Timmerman
Roger & Jo Timmerman are native Nebraskans. Their ranch is near Kimball, Nebraska, where they raise horses and cattle. They have 3 grown children – Liz ( & Brian), Tori (& Pat) and Broc. Liz & Brian have 2 children, Ethan & Jaci who love to ride the horses. So the next generation has started. Rog rode horses as a child on his parent’s farm in central Nebraska. Jo barrel raced and showed horses as she grew up and all 3 kids followed the tradition.

The Timmermans have raised, rode and trained their own AQHA horses for over 30 years. It started with Buck’s Tune, who they put down in the spring of 2004 at the age of 32. A powerful double bred Leo, Three Bars mare that raised many fine foals. The horses kept by the Timmerman’s are all-around using horses that can perform in the arena as well as out working with the cattle or for riding just for fun. All of the mares in their breeding program have been rode or worked to determine disposition & mind. If they show any meaness or lack of intelligence, they won’t stay even if they would be a super athlete.

The strong belief in the Blanton bloodline came with the purchase in 1992 of a gelding, Dale Blanton, a full brother to Skoal Bandit Blanton. He does everything but talk. He showed them what awesome horses Samm & Stuart Hoar were producing with their program. Over the years they bred mares to the Wyoming Blanton Enterprise stallions, getting horses that had the easy to work with dispositions, ability and all around try. In 2000 while at the preview for the Wyoming Blanton Enterprises Production sale, they saw Prime Time Blanton, a yearling sorrel stallion. Watching him move and his attitude changed their plans from taking the mares to outside stallions to owning their own. At that sale they thought they were just going to watch; they ended up bringing home Prime Time Blanton. Their goal is to raise, ride and sell athletic, sound, honest using horses with great dispositions.
